I want to try coloring with watercolor, and using dip-pen inking for character outlines.
So I've been searching on shop, looking for a paper suits my needs, and affordable price .
The target paper has to be....
For coloring:
Can spread out watercolor nicely.
For inking outline:
The paper should not spread out the dip-pen ink.
Very smooth surface for dip-pen inking. Rough paper can damage the nibs, causing them to 'catch' onto the surface
And finally I found it!!!
Cotman Watercolor Paper(B4)Weight: 242g/㎡ (extra thick) hot-pressed
水彩専用の紙(コットマン水彩紙(細目))
Actually... I did inking 3 illustrations with it.
Please see blow link for my inking videos.
